Where would you like to store your journal?
Before your first recording, please choose where you'd like your journal entries, notes, transcripts and voice recordings to be stored on your device.
When your browser supports it, you can select a folder on your device and give Lived in Lyrics permission to use it.
The app will only use the location you choose. Your operating system controls which folders are available to select. Storage selection is required. If this browser does not support folder access, you must use a supported browser/device to continue.
Choose your AI
Lived in Lyrics does not have its own AI model. Before your first recording, connect an AI provider you choose. Your selected provider will transcribe your recording and then create the reflection.
You can connect OpenAI, Google Gemini or Claude. OpenAI and Google Gemini can currently handle both voice transcription and reflection in Lived in Lyrics; Claude can be connected for reflections, but voice transcription is not currently supported in this build. Your API key is encrypted on the Lived in Lyrics server and is not shown back to you after it is saved.

- If the safeguarding system identifies a defined level of concern, it may use the verified contact details you have provided to encourage a real person to check in.
- A safeguarding message is limited to what is needed for the check-in. It does not automatically include the full journal entry.
- For under-16 accounts, the linked adult is required. For 16+ accounts, trusted contacts are optional and can be up to three people.
- The relationship you give us helps the system use a respectful, appropriate tone when a check-in is sent.
